Questions to ask in the interview

All 25 virtual assistant interview questions
  1. 1

Walk me through how you'd manage a busy inbox for me in your first week.

A good answer: A clear system: labels or folders, what they'd answer themselves, what they'd flag for you, and how often they'd check in.

  2. 2

Tell me about a time you had two urgent requests at once. How did you decide what came first?

A good answer: They asked about deadlines or impact, told both people what to expect, and finished one before starting the other.

  3. 3

How do you keep track of tasks, logins and recurring jobs for someone you support?

A good answer: A tool or shared list they keep up to date, a safe way to store passwords, and a regular note on what's done.
